Also, Crawford has been a better defensive shortstop than Belt has been an offensive first baseman. And (your favorite argument), Belt is injury prone and Crawford has been largely healthy his entire career.

Both shouldnt be on the team very long, but thats what I see as the huge difference between the two.

Definitely this.

C and SS is where you give up O for D. Buster gave us tons of O which is a large reason why we did what we did. Buster won an MVP, was arguably the best offensive C most of his career. Craw was above average while playing great D. Huff was average at best but had a monster year then was trash. Then a trash person but that's different.

Belt had some great moments sure. But everyone did. Torres, blanco, ishi, Ross, panda, freddie, Marco etc etc etc.

But Belt has been the him. Consistently ok. I just expected more and he was always hyped more and more.

At least JT had some really good offensive years.

Never put snow and belt on the same level

lol.

As Giants:

JT Snow - 3822 AB's, 124 HR, .273 avg, .807 OPS, 112 OPS+, 14 SB, 12.4 WAR

Brandon Belt - 3811 AB's, 138 HR, .263 avg, .810 OPS, 122 OPS+, 43 SB, 25.1 WAR

Snow: defensive WAR -2.8

Belt: defensive WAR -1.5

The statistics say Snow was very overrated defensively. Belt has been the superior offensive and defensive player in almost an identical amount of AB's as Giants.

Lol we'll be lucky to get a half eaten ham sandwich for him
So weird to check on the giants and see that my buddy Tony was pitching against them. Just blows my mind

Longo looks great. His bat speed looks faster than it has since he's been here.

No Giants fan cares about 2002 anymore, because of these.
