I guess just having great owners like the Millers for the Jazz spoiled me. They were always willing to go over but only if there's a legit reason to. A first or second round exit is pointless to.
lol how do you improve a team that is losing in 1st or 2nd rd.?!? Definitely not by being hell bent on avoiding tax.
By not paying 2 players that have accomplished nothing a majority of the salary.
So players like Stockton and Malone? You think Jazz should have moved on from them.
Stockton and Malone made the finals and if it wasn't for the greatest player in history would have multiple rings. If Harden and whomever were finals candidates I'd have no issue with the tax. My entire point is they are not a championship team. Paying millions upon millions for a quick exit is a waste of money.
They can go way over the tax and get more talent but they are not beating the Lakers or even Denver or GS.
Lol, comparing NBA of 25 years ago to today. Malone, Stockton wouldn't be enough in today's NBA.
Westbrook is crap. Everyone knows that.
Harden nearly, and quite frankly should have, toppled the Warriors super team. Rather than resigning a key player and pushing the tax, Tilman became owner and demanded they get under. He's killed any chance of winning ever since.
Pretending Harden's in the same class as a team killer Russ is laughable. Your sour grapes towards Houston have gotten old.
