Wtf

I wouldn't be surprised if they traded Oubre or Wiggins for future assets at the deadline. Kinda like what they did with DLo. Make Oubre/Wiggins look better than they are in that system and then move one or both at the deadline. Tax is calculated based on salary on the books at the end of the year.

Not happening if we're winning, Lacob wants to win and can care less about the tax. They may even use the exception they get from Klay's injury, now if there's a case where injuries or bad play where they're going nowhere then trades may happen. Either way it's the Lakers championship to lose

You're probably right - but 293M is a lot - especially when you can't have fans at the game. Let's see. But, have to tip your hat to the Warriors owners. They're one of the best in business by far. You get generational players like Curry only so often and it is the responsibility of the owners to put a contender around them every season. They've done that. Unfortunately, injury to Klay has hurt their chances to say the least but owners are doing everything possible to overcome that and that deserves respect.
