Don't want to miss that money. That's a bummer. Lebron is a b***h again.

Draymond echoed this earlier. Players understand that it's the sport itself that gives them a voice to make change. Damaging the sport shouldn't be the solution.
There is a meeting of NBA owners and players set for later today, sources tell @MarcJSpears and me. The discussion is expected to include plans of action moving forward on social justice issues.

This will come off bad but seems like common sense to me.Originally posted by sacniner:Originally posted by tjd808185:Originally posted by ninersrule4:Don't want to miss that money. That's a bummer. Lebron is a b***h again.

Great statement by Dray on that.

Maybe I'm being pessimistic because nothing has changed yet and holding out from 3 days of basketball doesn't seem like much compared to the protesting in the country. But what was the end game here? The owners won't back you because they are still getting paid so you lose that avenue there with possible help with politicians who can actually make a change. I don't know. I feel like this was an opportunity for athletes across the country to really stand up and make a change. Get the owners in your corner who are losing money who have close ties with a lot of political leaders. It is what it is. Hopefully it's enough.

Bron doesn't care about the playoff check. It's like pennies to him. Stephen A reported he was upset because he was blindsided by the Bucks decision to strike. They didn't reach out to him first. He probably wanted to be included in any strike initiation. He's like MJ in terms of always being aware of branding. My theory is that he wanted to be the face of the movement, so he was upset yesterday.
