team from down below?
bought themselves a ring?
the way they spent cash will live on?

these are digs my man, perhaps too subtle?

I think this makes sense as we have started to see some of the draft picks of the last regime develop in a positive direction. Hiring internally eliminates the need for the GM to learn about the organization and the stats of the prospect pipeline. They can just move forward with making improvements in a new direction more quickly.

who called Posey promoting an FZ hire? Shocking.
Blake Snell opted out and is a free agent???
Big Shock!

They're all true though so it didn't come across as sarcasm, or digs to me

Signed a 2 yr opt deal for $62 million but opts out cuz he wants more money(which he certainly deserves).

Gotta love the MLB lol.
Patrick Bailey and Matt Chapman win Gold Gloves!
Hey whatever congrats to Bailey.

Congrats to Chappy too. Well deserved.

The real "beauty" and the main lasting legacy of that F Farhan:
Bargain hunting and signing perceived legit players to big contracts, only to allow the opt out after one year. So, a pitcher like Snell who wound up having overall very strong year but couldn't move the needle because of the mediocrity around him, is gone now. While any players who stunk, opts in and will only continue to crowd payroll to the detriment of the team.

The return we could've gotten for Rodon and Snell. Ugh

Farhan insisted on clinging to the faint chance that they could make the playoffs and go on a run.
offseason rough sketch. don't even go in on Soto. he's not coming here and we don't need to be 'rejected'. let's focus on adding real dollars to pitching and fielding, primarily pitching. We should be real players in the market for aces and top relief arms. bailey and chapman are fixtures as are ramos and lee. looking for a good defensive outfielder and glove up the middle ss or 2b. then go overboard on pitching just can't have too much.

Absolutely agree with you. This is why I am so pissed on Snell's opt out.
