that being said better to make a move and do something then sit on your hands with this f**king roster

If you haven't figured it out yet MLB FA is overpayment of everyone, you think the A's could've gotten Severino to play in SAC without being the only team offering that contract? Soto isn't even worth the 600-700 mil he's rumored to get. Giants have to "overpay" to get them to come here most definitely

If Soto gets 700M it would be the biggest overpay in history. Adames was a bit of an overpay but probably not too much given the amount of teams that wanted him and his ability to hit for power and steal bases. Better deal for the Giants than the 13 year/350 M deal they offered Correa 2 years ago.

the strike outs are a concern though, he did steal 20 bases this past year

Posey!

🐐

Posey breaks his own franchise record for contract money with a guy he signed.

How would you rate adames defense?

He's very good defensively
Management to Buster " were cutting payroll "
Buster to management " Homie don't play that game "
I believe it when the physical is passed
I wonder whats the most money ever given to a free agent that has never been an All-Star? 🤔
I was surprised when I saw this on the crawl while watching the football game. Surprised for 2 reasons. First because they announced they were cutting salary. This certainly goes against that. Second because it happened quickly without a lot of drama. They got a SS which they needed and added a good bat in the process. Buster is off to a good start.
Carlos Correa pricing but shorter term
Correa was 13/350 (26.9 AAV)

I want Burnes and Kim still...not my money!!!
I hope to see 30+ of these at Oracle.
