Huh? How? The only prospect they gave up was their #7 prospect in their system.
Not sure it would have taken Etheridge but let's not think the Cubs just got Tucker for nothing or the Giants easily could have gotten him. I'm sure Buster tried but maybe the Cubs DID insist on Etheridge being part of the deal. No way to know unless Buster tells us
