He's a .230 hitter that strikes out a lot. He has 8 in 6 games already. And he gets a pass on average as its mostly down across baseball. But he still K's a lot.

Those are all facts but I am more impressed with the stuff you can't measure. He sets the tone and is helping establish a ballclub of players who need to f**king approach the game a certain way and take winning as a team and the culture seriously.

Yep. Which is why I am fine with his 151 mil contract...especially given the crazy dollar figures being issued. Its crazy that 151 mil sounds like a bargain.

Adames seems like a similar guy. He's off to a cold start but he's already established himself a leader, he's cheering on his teammates, cares about winning. Hopefully, his bat wakes up soon and he ends up a quality signing like chapman. High-character guy who brings a ton of intangible value who also happens to be a solid two-way player.

Old man Verlander is going to be fun to watch this season. 😬
The defense this inning
Three ground balls this inning and we have gotten zero outs from them. SMFH.

adames is feeling like hes being picked on
Ramos looks so good. Love that the giants are bunting and stealing bags. Playing baseball!
The Mariners Nintendo Switch patch looks ridiculous. It takes up most of the sleeve.
