hell of a pitching duel. 10k's 0 walks for Logan Legend
not again doval
Game

oof
Cain'd 2025 edition.

Also Doval wtf
Doval just doesn't have the confidence anymore. Ever since his All Star apperance he's gone downhill. H ehas the stuff but his control is terrible. A reliever and most ofall a closer has to be able to avoid walks. It seems like if he comes in and gerts a SO or a couple quick outs he's okay but if he starts out poorly he can't recover. I'm not sure what they can do to fix it. They tried sending him down to AAA last year and it didn't work.

he was topping out at 95 mph last night. Maybe he needs to go down again for an extended stay.
Orange and purple city connect unis debut tonight.
Here they are.

They look okay from what I can see. I heard the purple has somethng to do with the NY Giants and the connection to NYU who has violet in their colors.

City Connect 2025: The Remix - A campaign driven by rhythm. Designed to move—like the city that inspired it.

  • Turn It Up!: This uniform brings our story together—from the city's counterculture roots to its genre-defying sound. Every detail in the jersey reflects San Francisco's creative energy: bold color, music-inspired textures, and a rhythm all of its own. It's not about nostalgia. It's about movement. A new look for a city that never stays still.

  • The Story Behind Purple: From 1913–1917, the NY Giants wore violet—a nod to New York University that challenged baseball tradition. Today, it returns in a remix—linking the team's roots to San Francisco's spirit of rebellion.

  • Gradient Accents: Orange and violet crossfade like sound and motion. This isn't retro—it surges forward, remixing in real time.

  • Sound Waves: Pressed like vinyl grooves—these lines pulse with the rhythm of the city and echo across the Bay.

  • The Glove Patch: Our outfield glove—reimagined like a '60s gig poster. A tribute to movement, creativity, and San Francisco's underground energy.

  • Script in Motion: The chest script riffs like a melody—bold, stretched, unmistakable. A remix rooted in San Francisco's creative pulse.

  • The Hat: A Seamless Remix: The cap blends tie-dye tones, hidden samples, and the iconic SF logo—framed in the gradient. Head to toe, it remixes San Francisco into one rhythm.

i'm kinda digging the glove patch design.

My guess is the jerseys and hats will be a big hit with the younger crowd. I like them better than the orange and white ones they wore last season.

If this is your guess, then the designers completely missed the mark. This is supposed to pay homage to the Grateful Dead......a band that the younger crowd likely has no idea who they are.
I don't think I have ever heard one minute of a Grateful Dead song in my entire life.

Also, I much prefer the old city connect uniform to this new thing.
