Wade's BA is down to .105

Yazstremski not so bad when he's the 6th or 7th best hitter

great outing from Erik miller in extras

Get him out of the starting lineup. He's a bench guy

He's in a slump. He's shown in the past that he's a better hitter than this. His defense is still very good. Maybe they start platooning him more with Schmitt.

I just checked the River Cats page. Luciano hit a HR his first game and has gone 4-40 since then. Batting .122 with 17 SOs in 41 ABs. He's got to start showing some progress. I had really high hopes for him but for whatever reason he seems to be regressing. It's still early and he can turn it around but this poor start isn't a good sign. Overall it looks like nobody is off to a hot start in Sac.

On the other hand I couldn't be happier about what I've seen from the Giants. I had questions going into the season about Lee, Ramos, Yaz and Flores.

I was wondering about Lee's ability to hit since we hadn't really seen much of him. Well he's leding the leqgue in doubles so far and of course his defense is terrific.

I was wondering if Ramos would continue to play well or if he would go back to struggling. He's still strikes out more than we would lie to see but his defense has been good and he's hitting the ball hard.

Then we had Yaz and Flores who struggled so much last season. Both have been outstanding so far this year. Each has come up with some big hits and Flores is leading the team in HRs and RBIs.

One last positive. They have been putting the same lineup on the field nearly every day except when they face a left hander. No up and down transactions so far. I can't help but think all that has a positive effect on how they're playing. Players like knowing where you hit in the lineup nearly every day.

Lee gonna win the batting title.

I wonder if putting him at leadoff will give him better numbers. He's on fire right now.

I think he's fine where he is. Wade isn't hitting right now but he still can draw walks. They need Lee to drive in runs and get on base in front of Chapman, Ramos and Flores. Adames needs to start hitting in the two spot.
that game has to be a huge morale boost for the team, avoiding 3 Ls in a row after 2 back to back shutouts is rough

I don't think so. I think he's more comfortable this year as he hit in the 3 hole in Korea.
