He doesn't have much choice. They're in the middle of 17 straight games without a day off. The way the starters are struggling with the high pitch counts they have to try and get at least 4 or 5 innings out of them so they don't overwork the relievers. What needs to happen is the starters have to throw strikes instead of going to a full count on every batter.

They've had some really bad weather on this road trip with less than ideal conditions for pitchers. Temps in the 30s, rain and high winds.

Played Philly 4 times, won twice... loser of each game only scores 4 points all 4 times

Am liking grandson of the wind, that ab against Alvarado was sick, as many of his PA's have been. He's on the nl leaderboard for batting average.

13-6 and 3rd in the division. This is wild.

Gotta hope that the late flight back from Philly last night had some sort of effect on them.

Too bad they wasted a great performance by Webb, other than that 2nd inning

Someone ripped a big one during Webb's postgame interview lol. It was basically the offense telling Webb he did good.

One of Lee's hits was a nice bunt. The Giants hitters weren't seeing Anderson well at all. On the flipside the Angels weren't hitting either.

The most boring game I've seen so far this year. SOs and lazy fly balls all night.

I was looking at the minor league stats and the AA Richmond team has a 1st baseman named Victor Bericoto that's started off well. Batting .319 with 4 doubles and 3 HRs. He has 10 walks vs 8 SOs which is a good sign as well. He's 23 so maybe he's a guy to watch if Wade keeps struggling. Unfortunately he's not a LH hitter.

Lee deserves better
