At spring training before Belt was up, he talked to me for like 20 minutes. And I was like "any way you have a broken bat or something you're tossing that I could take home and show my fam?" And he told me to meet him outside the parking area. He rolled up with his batting gloves and signed them and told me he looked for something else interesting but he didn't have much to be able to give away lol

I'm mad jealous of my friend Tony being on the Dodgers and he's literally that guy to kids who were my age during the belt thing. Just crazy

I think the top 15-16 on this list have some real potential to be very good. Doval is listed #24 and already in their bullpen. Time will tell and I have no doubt that Farhan will add more quality players in the draft and international signings. I love what he has done signing quality Latin players.

does anyone miss how excited we were for numerous top prospects that didn't amount to anything? Like Gary Brown. Clayton Blackburn. Susac. Chris Shaw. Arroyo was a HUGE bust. Tyler Beede sorta?

He did lay down the foundation for the giants current minor league system. He was a much better prospect scout then Mlb gm.
