I just posted that in the MLB thread. In my opinion, if baseball is going to have 7 inning games it should count as a no hitter. I mean, he threw a complete game with the rules that MLB has layed out. Stupid if you ask me.

The 7 inning games make no sense to begin with. Imagine football having 3 quarter games.
Casali was 4 outs from tying a 118 year old Major League record, but then Wisler decided to give it up.

I agree. But if a pitcher throws a no hitter in the dumbass 7 inning game he should get credit for it.

this, if the game is on the schedule for 7 innings, it should count
Why was it only scheduled for 7 innings? I'm so out of the loop with the MLB right now

Doubleheader games are both 7 innings now. Because apparently MLB has time to play 14 innings but not 18.
Too close

Some of these new age rules make no sense to me. 7 inning doubleheaders, extra inning rules with a runner on 2nd?!

Not a fan of major changes like this.

Yeah, that's dumb. I doubt there are very many long-time baseball fans that like these rules.

I'm gonna need to see Tatis in person when SD comes to Oracle Park.
Does a 5 inning no hitter count if called due to rain?

also I really like the way Kap has been managing
