You all think Buster comes back for the last year on his contract?

Will be fun to hopefully have Bart and Ramos with us next year...

I think they will let Buster make that choice, he has earned that right imo.

Havent followed Bart, but is he ready?

No.
Is Bryant coming back?

Unlikely. Going to cost way more than he's worth.
Weeelp.

At least we got Webb.

I thought he atoned for himself pretty well. reality is that the giants don't have anyone in the outfield right now and bryant's versatility is something to consider
oh hey look, that kris bryant at bat...

Offseason should be fun boys. Cash to deploy. What do we root for now? Don't really like any of these teams. Tragic that Acuna is not involved he is must see TV.

I'm pulling for Dusty Baker.

good season. it was entertaining. we're set up for good things.

I hate to be negative, but are we? Farhan has a lot of work to do.

We are in great position salary wise.

Hope we go horrrdddd after Correa and/or Story.
We have an excellent SS who is signed for 2 more years. Do you really think spending big money on either Story or Correa will put us over the top? I certainly dont

I'd move one of them to 3B. Hard to get a player like Correa in his prime in the FA. I think one move will not put us over the top - but a few moves can and that is one that I wouldn't mind spending a good amount of money on.

Also - Crawford is gonna be 35 in January.

The Giants built their racecar from scratch and the Dodgers bought a Ferrari. Tough to win a race against that. Its pretty impressive we came as close as we did.

absolutely, it's just frustrating how little the bats showed up in games 4 and 5.

The Next Man Up philosophy that Kapler used all season long worked like a charm.

Until it didn't.

Oh well. See all of you next year.

The moment got too big for these guys as they tried to hit a homerun every at bat.

Funny thing is Wade almost won the series on one.

He had a good NLDS, but he's going to get paid like an MVP, and he's just not that player anymore. Hes a 5/140 mil type guy who will get 7/225 because his agent is Scott Boras and he has the pedigree.

I just dont see the Giants paying anywhere near his asking price after the mediocre 2nd half he had here. Especially when his biggest selling point was his position versatility, and he ended up being unplayable at 3B. 225 mil for a corner OF in his 30's who is going to hit .270 with 25 hr isn't how you want to spend your money.

I'm still holding out that he gives us some discount. At the end of the day, it's not my money to spend Reality is that we're in the toughest division and giving gapler a piece that can move around would help with the constant platooning. I'd be curious to see what this coaching staff can do with him after seeing career years from crawford and belt.

Especially when you have to fill 4 spots in the starting rotation.
yeah i'd rather go after pitching than dropping $200M+ on KB and his 2 out singles.
