lol how can we miss Evans with Longoria still on the roster? I knew when we made that move he'd be dead weight pretty much after 2018. The Rays are probably still laughing.

what they got in that trade didn't pan out either.

Thats irrelevant though. We've been paying Longoria to contribute next to nothing for 4+ years now.

No, not at all. Just waiting for the offseason where we actually make some major FA signings like we always get our hopes up for every year. Especially when we always hear "this guy's salary will be coming off the books this year, that guy's salaries will be coming off the books, the stadium is paid off," "The Giants have tons of $$ to spend" etc. etc.

Not unhappy with the current front office group at all, just hoping they make some major moves within the next couple offseasons.

They are setting us up for long-term sucess both financially and with an elite farm.

I tend to agree with this. The radio pundits on KNBR keep screaming for free agent signings. I think help from the farm system begins to arrive this season. I hope Bart lights it up. I also expect Ramos to come up and contribute at some point.

Didn't 2010 roll through 2012? I remember the thread was multiple seasons long at one point.
