Not having Buster out there working with the pitching staff is gonna hurt us. Big time.

Just throw Casali out there when you need a shutout. Easy fix

I know, for a fact, that some of the comments made by Webzone users in 2010 stated the following when Buster Posey was annointed as the SF Giants starting catcher. I know this because I'm that old and I remember them.

"Not having Benjie Molina out there working with the pitching staff is gonna hurt us. Big time."

OK. So it may not be a word for word quote. But my message is this: Give Joey Bart a chance. There is a reason why he's been called up.

Let alone 10-11 years ago

Ok. Maybe so. But a slow start isn't a reason so I'm not sure what dynasty even said lol
I can see everyone is already in season form.

The entire thing is so stupid. I had already drafted Ohtani in my fantasy keeper league back then, and still have him today. Obviously I didn't think he was going to bust.

I saw him struggling at the plate in that first ST and suggested that he wasn't going to be able to hit consistently enough if he was trying to maintain his swing mechanics AND his pitching mechanics simultaneously throughout the season, which outside of homer Angels fans was a concern that all baseball fans had at that time.

Gore and Dynasty were both hyped on Ohtani and trolled me over those doubts, I guess because they cant handle some skeptical criticism involving their team. Then they said nothing while he couldn't stay healthy the first several years, and came out of the woodwork with it after Ohtani's 2021.

Garce went fishing through the Angels thread and now tries to use it as his own comeback. 🙄
ahhh. Cool. I thought he might have trouble staying healthy or fit enough for both roles given the long grind of the season. And how much rest it requires to be a pitcher now given the velocity of today's game. But dude is a stud. Different level of talent there. I really hope he inspires more Ohtani type players who were previously told you can't do that in the future.

Anyways, my breakout picks for this year are the same guys I was on about last year. Thairo Estrada and Camilo Doval. I'll call them being 2022 All-Stars my bold predictions, although its not really that bold I suppose.

I think with league wide DH rules it might happen more. And it not hurt recovery too much.

Logan Webb will not be able to win Silver Slugger alongside his CY.
Finally getting into the swing of the baseball season again. Fantasy team drafted...only Giant I was able to get was Logan Webb. The Dodger fan in the draft got Doval.
