I missed most of the game while at work but was there some incident with the Padres 3B coach and Kapler??? They're talking about it on Murph and Mac but can't sort out the details…

Asking the white manager to " control that motherf**ker " had some racial overtones. Not to me, but I'm not black.

Ehhh, its a stretch to call that racism IMO. You could probably perceive "undertones" in a lot of things if you want to. Maybe if you were there live it was more pronounced. For him to tell the media he was being referred to like property, or a slave seems pretty extreme.

Were just living in racially tense times I guess. Maybe Shildt has a history of saying things like that. Who knows.
