A 6 run lead is not big enough to be crying about a team trying to score.

I think Dubon was being a b*tch for trying to bunt up 9 late in a game. But tonight in no way was breaking any unwritten rule or showing poor sportsmanship. Nats need to look in damn mirror here.

That throw by Dubon to get Soto at 3rd was fantastic. He's got a lot of tools if he can put it all together mentally.

The league wants offense and Kapler is more than happy to oblige regardless of the inning or situation. I wholeheartedly agree with it. Let these guys play. We aren't playing little league.

Dubon's big league career is game to game at this point. Why should he not be trying to get on base every chance he gets? I'm usually for the old time unwritten rules when it comes to showboating, but any team who cries about an opponent trying to score in a blowout is mentally weak. Prevent them from scoring if you don't like it. Do they want a little league mercy rule?

He's gone once Wade is finished with his rehab assignment in a few days.

Looking back at Toronto giving Gausman 22 mill, do you all think Bumgarner getting 17 per year was overpay? Or do you wish Z matched that offer?

Bumgarner might wish he had taken our offer. As a competitor he's probably miserable on that horrible team watching the Giants win 107 games. Or maybe he's accomplished everything he wanted and just wants to make his money and go roping in AZ? He's been pretty good so far this season. Probably would've been helped greatly by the Kapler pitching coaches. Its a shame an extension didn't work out.

Maybe if Cobb and DeSclafani can't stay healthy we'll trade for Bum this summer. lol
