Down with Cobb signing for sure
It's been the injuries with Cobb. Can he stay healthy?

if you view him as replacing Cueto, we replaced one injured pitcher for another.

Low cost, low risk, so it doesn't really matter. We will sign more than 5 SP by the start of next season, so if Cobb gets hurt someone else will be there to step in.
I like the Cobb pickup. Wish we could have gotten Semien
1. Webb

Going to throw out some names. Dark horse candidates:
Rodon (had a Robbie ray like season. His history says else),
Davies, he's been linked to the Giants as an interest since last year.
Bundy (will he be the next Robbie ray??)

would like to see:
Stroman or Kershaw (I mean come on he's Clayton Kershaw),

The White Sox and Dodgers not offering Rodon and Kershaw the qualifying offer is a huge red flag to me. I don't trust their health.

Yeah that's a great call out. Rodon before his arm fatigue had a crap track record. Just like Ray. Had a great first half and was an AS, but the. Tapered off and the huge dip in velocity is a concern.

Kershaw indeed has a track record as of late with huge durability concerns. Idk why I'd love to have him when the logical answer is to pass.

going to be interesting to see what we do to iron out the rotation. So do we add 1-2 more just for needed depth? I'd like to see some additions to the pen too.

Yeah, I say pass on both of them.
Anyone paying attention to these HOF ballots being turned in??
they need to stop this process and let the HOF committee vote the players in. it's almost embarrassing some of these ballots and the reasoning.

heres my two cents, if the Hall of Fame is not commissioned and ran by MLB, why the f**k do these sports writer's have so much say in this! Half these schmucks haven't seen most of these players on the ballot even play

The whole process has always been a farce. They wont vote in the steroid era players, but they did vote in the commissioner who allowed it in order to make baseball popular (Bud Selig).

Watch them vote in steroid user David Ortiz.

Ortiz will easily make it, which will expose the voters for lying about why they're keeping Bonds and Clemens out.

The writers are given the vote because its supposed to be an unbiased opinion from people who cover the game, but it's become the most biased opinion out there.
So do you all think we will make any more moves before the lockout tmw night?
