Came into the playoffs with one Center being DPOY and 3rd team all NBA and the other carrying a 'soft' label. Oh my how things have changed

I was so confused why they kept trying to shoot threes and not have him destroy them inside.

Even if Gobert isn´t a great post up player, I bet he could have scored on Mann or Batum once or twice right?
They didn´t even try.
Even worse they totally abandoned their pick and roll attack with Gobert as a lob finisher.
Clearly they missed Conley but they could have done way better.
The Suns have no fear whatsoever giving the ball to Ayton. Even if it doesn´t work it brings some balance inside/out in their game.
And also the Suns shoot a lot of midrange jump shots, you know the so called bad shots yet in PO against the best defenses, it´s the shot that really makes the difference.
Booker was deadly in that area in the first game and I´m sure Leonard if he wasn´t injured would have done the same for LA.

This. It's a really stupid call. They would call it exactly the same 100 out 100 times. This is how it will be called everywhere in the World. If Booker wasn't touching the ball and then Pat hit the ball and on the way out it hit Booker - then it's off Booker. But, if Booker has control of the ball and Pat hit it and ball went out - it should be called off Pat. NBA needs to fix this.

This s**t happens on rebounds a lot. Someone grabs a rebound and has control of it - and opposing player will come and knock it out. If you review it - it'll be called off the player who got the rebound. If you don't - ref will always call it off the player who knocked it out.

its almost impossible to get called correctly without replay which is why they just let the ball handler retain possession. replay gets the call right though. it just is what it is. either dont have replay or just stop whining about it.

Oh ok basically you've never played basketball. Gotcha.

That ball will always go off the edge of the dribbler's hand.

Are you kidding?? He went from a 47% free throw shooter to 90% this past season!

You are talking to a Sixers fan. Clearly he is going to be emotional on the topic. If they drafted Tatum instead, they might have had a parade by now. I get why he feels that way.
Replays have destroyed soccer also. VAR is absolutely horrible. They will call a player offside if his nose is ahead of the last defender lol. That's not why replays were brought in the game.

My friends who are soccer fans say the same thing. But I am far from a soccer fan, so couldnt care less.

Yea I gotta agree w 4ml the guy who has to ball keeps it thats just a rule. unless you want to start calling fouls when you crush someones hand and it reactively pushes the ball out.

If the Suns go on to win the Finals, that play will be their version of The Catch.

That play will come in second to the Sun in 4 beating. Leading to 3 straight sweeps in the playoffs.
