CPee is to point guards as Dan Marino is to QBs.

physically gifted
regular season standout
hot headed
quick to point fingers
a fake smile with an entirely unlikable personality
over-inflated ego
a fake who can't win

He's the only player in my lifetime that made me root for the lakers when facing him in the post season. I've never wanted a player to not win a ring less than him since Karl Malone.
So far, so good.
He leaves, I can chill on the Suns.
In fact, I'd probably get a lump in my throat watching Monty Williams raise a trophy, because he's the best of us, but only if CP is off the squad by the time that happens.

Point God? He's outside the top 5 of PGs

They played like the Orlando Magic tonight…

Passing on Luka was big mistake for every team that had a chance to draft him. I felt at the time that Suns had the best excuse (Ayton being a hometown player and had Booker) but still felt they should have taken Luka. You take the best player in the lottery and worry about position later. Kings were obviously dumb.

As good as Trey Young is - it was not a good trade for Hawks either. Luka is in his own league in the draft class. Wait till he dedicates himself to fitness and Mavs land a proper no 2 next to him.

Obviously rooting for Luka and Giannis. This is gonna be a really really fun day regardless of what happens. Go Luka and Giannis - will be tough to win game 7s on road.
I root for or against teams - not players. I am rooting for the Mavs and Celts.

lol I just dont get how one watches team sports and roots for one player and follows him from team to team

Plenty of people do that

The best player in the NBA, Giannis, has been slayed

Only Luka left for 4ML. Would love to see Luka vs Curry. Mavs are a good team i think they swept the reg season series against the Celtics

Meh - I can pretty much enjoy watching all great players. I love controlling the pace and rhythm aspect of the game and gravitate towards players like that in NBA. Luka was the player I liked the most in the draft since 2003. I thought he'd be generational back then and couldn't believe Mavs who picked 5th ended up with him.

But yea - Idk how anyone can not understand rooting for certain players. You want to see all time great players do great things. Even though I was rooting for Luka today - I was hoping to see special things from Booker and CP3. It's supposed to entertainment - it's not that serious.

They have both now made 1 conference finals each. Understand that luka is very special, but both players are still coming into their own

True but making conf finals isn't the only reason. Luka was the best player in the series against Clippers 2 years in a row. There is no question that Luka is a top 5 player in the league and is on another level than Trey Young.

Ayton probably lost himself tens of millions with his lackluster playoff series. Last years playoffs we saw a different player. This years playoffs he once again just didn't want to play physical at all.
I had no idea how much CP is hated

off to Cancun

Didnt Giannis have his way with Ayton during last year's finals
