The level of hate that the Celtics got for trading for Kevin Garnett isnt even close to the amount of hate the Warriors have gotten over the course of our dynasty run. The hate that the Decision brought was 100% directed at Lebron James, and not the Miami Heat. Not to mention that neither the Heat nor the Celtics were actual dynasties. I dont recall the hate the Lakers got for trading for Gasol, but you would know more than I. I didnt once hear a single fan, analyst, etc try to discredit the Lakers rings and call them phony because you guys traded for Gasol (who, lets be honest, was nothing more than a fringe all star prior to playing with Kobe).

I stand by my statement that the Warriors are the most hated dynasty of all time. But to your point, the hate in the first two years was almost entirely fan hate (I should have clarified this). It wasnt until we signed KD and EVERY subsequent year after that (including the present), the media has hopped on board with the NBA fan hate. I have never seen anything like it. Discrediting the Warriors at every turn. Even now, we are hearing how we got lucky with Ja going down and us not having to play the Suns....even as much as media members calling this the "most boring playoffs in recent history."

It never stops.

Ok that's all fair, but fan hate when you drafted stephy klay and draymond during the pre Durant Warriors? Who hated on them? I really don't remember them being hated, at all...They were the most fun O, most organically built team in my lifetime. Maybe you just have never experienced being good and the built in hate that comes with it...That's every team, ever haha. There was no added hate IMO.

I definitely agree with this. GS was not a team that got hated on.

People loved Don Nelson for example.

And their first run, it was widely celebrated by a lot of people especially fans. Building it organically like that was very cool.

KD going to GS wasn't close to the hate Bron/Heat got.

A whole hour dedicated to him and then the speech he gave to fans . Come on now KD joining wasn't even close, and KD was during the peak of social media age, unlike with Bron.

And there was more KD hate than GS, not like with Bron/Miami where Miami got a lot of hate as well.

As you guys won, you were now in the spotlight for once like Dynasty said, and that's always gonna bring hate anyways. Even if you don't get KD, Curry/Dray would've been talked about a lot more in a negative way.

I dont agree with a lot of this, specifically about the Heat getting more hate than the Warriors, but agree to disagree.

The one hole in your argument, which is where your argument completely falls apart IMO, is it doesnt acknowledge what is happening now. If the hate the Warriors got was simply because of KD, wouldnt logic say that all of that would stop since he is gone? It hasnt. Have you been on twitter since the playoffs started? Have you watched any of the ESPN/FS shows? The amount of hate coming from all directions is still unbelievable. Curry and the Warriors are still being mocked daily, even by supposed unbiased paid professionals. Still have never seen the level of disrespect and not giving any credit to the team. Its one thing to hate them (which I agree with you and Dynasty that comes with winning). But this is a whole different level of hate. Its not just dislike. Its the constant effort to diminish everything that has been accomplished, which I have never seen with any other dynasty before.

This is weird lol but at least it is established and sounds like good ole fashioned ribbing more than anything else

https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/charles-barkley-rips-warriors-fans-rude-nsfw-pregame-rant

and I cant believe i felt sorry for the chuckster when his auburn team bowed out of the ncaa in excruciating fashion a few years ago
I love that Charles plays the villain with our fanbase. Its great and fun.

I wouldn't let skip bayless Paul pierce or kendrick perkins fire you up too much. Literally in this forum you have a bunch of different fanbases and no one is hating on them, in fact just the opposite. You seem to be creating this underdog us against the world, no one respects us mentality out of thin air for a franchise that has made 5 finals and 3 championships in the last 7 years. Seriously no one hates on anyone on that team but draymond (he does kick people in the balls on purpose pretty often) and everyone gives them a s**t ton of respect. Try and find 1 NBA fan that feels comfy with a 15 point lead in the 4th quarter vs the Warriors.
A lot of these talking heads are ex role players that are still bitter about not amounting to much. You would have been driven mad w this mindset as a laker fan, everyone/fanbase in the NBA hated Kobe for 2 decades, he didn't get much respect til he retired and more specifically he died. Guys like Jalen Rose who he dropped 82 on still talks s**t lol

It comes with the territory, just sounds like you're new to this. Embrace the hate its a beautiful thing.

I was just trying to add some context as to why our fanbase has become so toxic over the years. People react to the constant disrespect in many different ways. As you said, Warrior fans werent always like this. And it certainly isnt everyone. Trust me, I am enjoying the ride as much as anyone, and personally dont care if people hate us. What triggered this entire conversation was Warrior fans digging up Haynes old tweets after they deemed his reporting as disrespectful, and whether or not that was appropriate or not. Like I said, people are just tired of the disrespect. Has nothing to do with an underdog versus the world mentality. If you dont think its happening at a different level than normal hate for good teams, I cant help you. That's what I am seeing. And I have lived through other dynasties.

Embracing the hate is the same thing as embracing bandwagon fans. I have zero problem with bandwagon fans. I welcome them. If you dont have any, your team isnt very good. I hope the Niners have a legion of bandwagon fans in the foreseeable future.
Fair enough. Enjoy it!
I hope tonight isn't another blowout.

Chuck is dead on correct like he is with most things. I remember taking Bart in to Oracle back in the day long before Curry, back when there was the blue man group logo. Train would be 90% Lakers fans. Pathetic. Some clubs are a fan base with some bandwagoners. This is a very small almost non-existent fan base with 90% bandwagon. Makes it a tough team to root for.
Arena is packed pre-tip-off for game 5, but..

"hEaT hAv nO fAnZ"
Some of this just flat out bad offense by the Heat but man, when Boston has Robert Williams out there that defense is lethal.
Jimmy Butler is clearly hurt

stick a fork in Miami.

When the Celtics have everyone playing, that defense is ridiculous.
