Lol sorry man. I've been a die hard C's fan my whole life.
Not a chance the Celts shoot over 50% from 3 on the regular.

They were inspired by Chef Curry :)

Their post season 3p% average is 37, Warriors is 38. If you adjust for this, the game is tied at the end, 102 to 102. Obviously this is super hypothetical.

Yeah but I don't think Tatum plays that poorly again. 3-17 from the field and 12 points in 42 minutes is unlikely to repeat itself.

If before the game you told people that Tatum would put up those numbers in Game 1, I'm guessing everyone but the most diehard Boston homers would say that Golden State wins it by double digits.

The Finals MVP favorite should be Al Horford if you are looking strictly at G1.
Uhhh this aint the mavs...or the grizzlies. Everyone saying they won't shoot like that again but they were wide open shots..Mavs had the same they just couldn't hit anything... You can shut down Tatum but barely playing perimeter defense is going to bite you.

Even on a poor shooting night, he did a great job getting his teammates involved.

And he's too good to shut down like this again.

They're a very good team, and ya, much more battle tested.
It's 1 game. Not gonna over-react. Warriors had a long rest - could be a little rusty. Celtics coming off a massive game 7 road win with all the confidence in the World. Warriors win the next one for sure but yea - they gotta play 48 minutes. Celtics were thoroughly tested in the East Conference playoffs whereas Warriors were not due to injuries and Mavs making the Conf. Finals. But, Warriors are still the better team imho and should win this series.

I disagree. The Celtics dont even have a chance to run away in the 4th if Jaylen Brown hadnt kept them in the game. His +/- was +22 compared to +9 for Horford. I just thought he was the best Celtic on the court for the entire game
