Not familiar with Lakers reddit. it's from comments I've seen on Twitter. But they could be LeBron fans more so than Laker fans, based on a majority having LeBron avis. Just hard to believe that there are true Lakers fans rooting for Celtics.

Laker fans dont have LeBron avis. Those are stan accounts that have no real connection to the Lakers franchise. Thats why you see so many of them on twitter openly rooting for the Celtics.

That's most likely the case.

But what other player would Lakers fan have as an avi, Anthony Davis? Russell Westbrook? lol I would think they would have their best player LeBron. Also, there are Lakers fans that have become LeBron stans as well. So, that's another possibility.

If someone is a Lebron fan since the start of his career and they're rooting for Celtics - I've to laugh at them. Celtics were Lebron's biggest rivals for 10+ years. Idk how any Lebron fan can root for Celtics. Also - as an NBA fan - you want Curry to get his much deserved Finals MVP finally. He was robbed before. This should be his 3rd. He deserved to win one in 2015 and 2018. He was the best player for the Warriors in both of those finals series.

Oh and f**k Celtics! Always and Forever!

Oh and after Curry wins his 4th championship tomorrow - I hope I never have to see Durant ranked above Curry in all time rankings ever again (especially on this board).

Its more so that some Lebron fans dont want Curry to get his 4th ring. It could be any team thats facing the Warriors and they would prefer that to Curry matching their hero in rings.

I also disagree with the idea that this should be Curry's 3rd FMVP. It should be his 2nd. 2018 was rightfully KD.

not a Warriors fan, but I respect the hell out of their team and what theyve done the last 10 or so years, Curry is a hell of a player ,class act, and I couldn't imagine ever rooting against him. LeBron on the other hand may be a generational talent but is a complete assclown with zero loyalty to every team he's ever been on. I'll take Curry over him any day. And yes f**k Boston, looking forward to GS finishing them off tomorrow night

Much respect and admiration for Williams toughing this out. I do however worry for him, as I am getting Andrew Bynum vibes. Bynum toughed it out in the Finals, helped the Lakers win a title, and ultimately was never the same afterwards. Hope that isnt the case here.
