***2021 NBA PLAYOFFS THREAD***

I was pretty high on the Hawks before the start of the season after they picked up two snipers in Gallo and Bogi last off-season. I had them winning over 37 games. But, imo they have even exceeded my expectations for them. I never thought they'd in position to win rd. 1 of series. Pretty damn impressive. Perfect rebuild. They were in conf. finals just a few years ago. Completely rebuilt and can go far over the few years if young guys keep improving.

Probably bc he also made several bold predictions and was wrong. I didn't think it was bold. Bucks have looked really good and I think Jrue Holiday addition (and to lesser extend PJ Tucker) looks better in playoffs than in regular season bc they're physical players. I had Bucks and Nets series as a toss up before the playoffs but the way they beat Miami has to be scary for rest of the East.

Too bad they lost DiVincenzo.

Yea - that's a bad loss but Forbes is playing lights out and they may get Giannis' little brother back. He's not bad at all and gives them another big body who can guard smaller players on defense to go at Nets small lineups.

Really cant' wait for that series.

Jrue on Kyrie
Middleton on KD
Giannis on Harden

Nets will still score but Bucks do have players who can slow them down for some stretches. Giannis has to be super aggressive and dominate - if he doesn't - Bucks will lose. Nets don't have ANYONE who can stop him in the paint.

After LeBron retires, do you think you'll pick a team to stick with, or follow another player?
Let's go phoenix!!! Beat LA!!!

So cool to watch Bogi shine on the playoff stage

I've been pretty high on them. Was really disappointed how they started the season, but switching coaches was a great move. The past 4 years what they've done in the draft is amazing. And I have no doubt that Trey signs a huge extension and they will get a star player to get there.

That series may be the best one of the playoffs. Milwaukee is so well balanced and plays unselfish. Giannis doesn't have to have huge scoring games. Even if Middleton is struggling to score, they have others that can fill in. Giannis and Middleton (esp Giannis) can impact the game in so many other ways besides scoring... they can put the clamps down defensively as well

When hitting on all cylinders, Brooklyn is unstoppable. But, they do get out of sync at times. They iso just about every possession and at times it seems as if they don't know what all star will dribble the ball for 18 seconds and put up a shot. Lots of iso ball. Idk enough about Nash to judge him, but he should do more than just iso. Really tempting when you have KD and Harden, but mixing it up will keep the opposing defense off balance. Also, with that much talent, Nash has so many options. Feels like they are still figuring things out. KD took an extended vacation during the season and Harden was out at the end

I thought Brooklyn would be unstoppable, but that series seems like a tossup now. Can't wait to see that. Luckily we get it next round

They definitely need help for Trey.

Bruh, you don't know the half of it. My man 4ML's favorite basketball team is the one lebron plays for. Wherever that may be. Cavs, heat, Lakers. That's who he cheers for. This is old news for us here. lol

Now good ol' Val, he's 49ers, braves, timberwolves, and Kansas bball. Now that's some sh!t.

Val dribbles with both hands.

I love me some Luka - and I'll always root for him but I don't know about that. I think I relate a little with Lakers fans - in the sense that - everyone hates the Lakers bc they're the GOAT franchise. So, I may stick around. I do have tough time with Lakers fans who are also dodgers fans. Can't stand them but then again - I can't stand some of the 49ers fans who are A's fans.

Yup...could be the best series of the playoffs. Though - can't wait to see the winner of this series against Sixers also.

I do think bc Nets are such a high octane offense and bc Durant can guard Middleton - Giannis has to be a beast in this series. If Giannis attacks the paint relentlessly - he can get them in foul trouble too. Nets are already hurting for depth against this particular matchup - so that's where I think Bucks biggest advantage is imho.

After Nets get thru Celtics - they'll have to go thru Bucks and Sixers. Both teams main advantage is size. Will be interesting how small vs big plays out in the East.
Refs too scared to call LeBron for violation. Monte giving the ref an earful, free 3 points. Can't wait too see how bad the foul disparity going to be this game.
lol replaying it now, straight up gift for LeBron
Ya just saw that Walker, that was crazy, I dont think I've ever seen a ref miss a call in the NBA
