I said this to my buddy this morning who is a big Laker fan. If Reaves comes back, it will have been a very good free agency for you all. If he doesn't, even in spite of the signings I don't think your team has really improved.

Reaves was always coming back. He's a restricted FA and on top had to deal with Arenas rule. I said it in the past when ppl were laughing that Lakers need to make it clear that they'll match any offer and that will deter team from making an offer for Reaves bc their money will be stuck for a week. Lakers did that and Reaves didn't get any offer.
Also - regardless of any offer - he'd cost only 12m max against the cap this season. Lakers were always going to match it.

DLo is a really good reg season player and you need those as well to make the playoffs. At 18m a year - he's a bargain. Hes gonna be better this year with a full offseason with the team and I expect AD and DLo PnR to be extremely lethal next season.
Plus - it's basically a prove it deal. DLo should have a big year for Lakers at a very good contract for the lakers. He was making over 30m last year.

Steal of a contract and all credit to the Lakers FO. He does have opt out after 3 years and Lakers will pay him his salary upfront. Lakers really handled it perfectly.

DLo contract is also a bargain. FVV went for 45m a year. D'Lo is making 17m this year. FVV is a better player but not 2.5 times. Lakers aced this FA by not overpaying for anyone and improved the team that went to Conf finals.
