2021-2022 17 TIME WORLD CHAMPION Los Angeles Lakers Thread

2 things that jump out:

a) From Jan. 1st to Jan. 27th - all the Lakers game will be in California except one game in Utah. Hardly much travel for almost a month.
b) Similar stretch in Feb/March - from Feb. 8th to March 24th - all the Lakers game will be in California except two games - 1 at Utah and 1 at Phoenix. Hardly much travel for month and a half.

Two really really favorable long stretches. Love it.

AR making 40m over next 3 years may be the best non-rookie contract in the NBA. Dude is special.

Can't wait to see Bron and AR do their thing. Lebron will be able to play a lot off the ball and it's gonna happen bc of AR.

Joke of a contract. Should easily be making at least what Duncan Robinson got.

Exactly how I had hoped it would play out back in May. Lakers gave him everything they could including 80% annual salary upfront.

Still can't believe we got his at that price. I think worse case with Reves, he will be a really good 3rd option now and down the line. So that's a great contract for someone who can one of your best players consistently.

Ugh they paid ad. Terrible move they'll regret when he's hurt every other game.

Lol. What? You don't know football or basketball.

Why did the Lakers make the run and the WCF last season? Because of you sitting at home playing GM or AD dominating? Shut your ass up

Lol wcf nobody cares about that. This the Lakers only championships matter. Lol wcf loosers you funny

You are funny. AD has a championship. I know more about the Lakers and the history and the stats than you do. You are just a fan that doesn't know much. Lol. No idea about stats, advance stats or salary cap

If Austin is hitting those 2 shots with average consistency next season - that'll be the biggest addition to this team at any point in 2023.

#2 GOAT and it's not even close
Wow USA lost to Germany. Looking at the box score I guess they never heard of playing defense?

Was watching the game. Nope, they had no idea what defense was. Schroeder also did Reeves dirty at the end

I thought I was in the general NBA thread. Anyway, that's too bad. We'll get em next summer (I hope lol).

Hopefully they'll send a real team not their 3rd best 12.

Reeves offense kept USA in the game. Reeves defense kept Germany in the game.

Should never have sent this trash team to this tourney.
