Everything went Nuggets way at the end. Just that kind of game. It's a completely diff series if Lakers had won tonight and Vando is back in game 3.
I still can't believe they overturned that D'Lo call and Rui missing gimme layups in the first half was just a killer.

I'm basically done with this group.
Trade AD/Rui - If Dlo uses his player option (doubt it) trade his ass too. Let Bron walk if he wants to. Obviously fire Ham.

I just don't see us winning a ring with this group anymore. AD just hasn't been same either after winning a ring. Inconsistent af in big games now. And you can't ask a 40 year old to carry your team in the playoffs. AD needed to step up, he's the face of this team now, Bron passed the torch to him. Wtf is he doing? He's capable of being a top 5 player, he just doesn't show up at times. 1 shot in the 4th QT last night? Ridiculous.
DLo will most likely opt out as well. And there's no way we should resign for the 30-35 mil he will command.

Ya it's an overreaction and emotions are high after yesterdays, even the players were devasted. DLo trying to talk about refs and s**t, stfu and play better. AD taking 1 shot in the 4th has nothing to do with the refs either. They like to point fingers when s**t goes wrong instead of taking accountability.

Pels own the pick in 2025 and Jazz own the pick in 2027.
But, if Lakers want to rebuild - hold on to rest of the draft picks. Tell Bron theyre rebuilding so he can opt out. D'Lo will opt out for sure - and then trade AD, Rui, & Vando. Yes don't have the pick 2 of the next 3 years but if you're gonna do proper re-build - you're gonna s**t the bed for next 5-6 years anyway. Should be able to land some nice assets for AD, Rui, and Vando.

And see this is my thing. Yes, Lebron was special for much of the 4th. But it also came at the expense of his teammates. AD was the best player on the court for much of the first three quarters and he was completely uninvolved. Was that him being passive? Perhaps. Was it Bron dominating the ball? Call it what you want, but he certainly didn't help getting AD involved. DLo was am afterthought as the game went on also.

Bron gets blame if he isn't aggressive, Bron gets the blame if he's too aggressive lol.
AD has a big enough role on this team to demand the ball. I've seen this no show in big moments from AD way too many times since he got his ring, this isn't new.
DLo is gonna DLo, that doesn't surprise me either.

And that didn't really what happened. Austin had several possessions where he was running the offense in 4th.
In the 3Q when Lakers went 10 straight possessions without scoring - Lebron wasn't on the court for most of those possessions and Lakers couldn't score.
He also was on the bench for the start of 4th and Lakers couldn't score.
It is obvious Lakers game plan is to go thru AD or Bron depending on who Gordon is not guarding. Gordon was on AD in 2nd half of game 2 and offense went thru D'Lo, Bron and Austin.
I saw a stat - Lakers role players (players outside Bron and AD) have been outscored by 30 by Nuggets role players (players outside Joker and Murray).
That's where the games are being lost. Bron and Ad have mostly outplayed Joker and Murray. Austin and Rui missed open 3s late in 4th quarter - MPJ hit the one he got.
….and that's why I feel series is over. Murray has not had a good series yet (outside of 6 minutes in 4th Q of GM 2). He's gonna get hot for the whole game in one of the next 2 games and Bron or AD will only have a good game instead of a great one & series will be over then.

I wasn't blaming him. Bron was special in the 4th. Much better than usual. Just saying he dominated the ball for much of the 4th and AD wasn't getting touches.

Continuation calls are ridiculously inconsistent in the nba
