If there is even 10% chance of getting him - Jeanie needs to offer him what UCONN can't offer. He signed a 6 year 32m contract last year with UCONN - they may be willing to make it 6 year 50M-60M - so offer him 8 year 100M with control of the roster and get this done.
Reports are 5 year 80 mil. Highest paid ever NBA coach. If that's true, he's not turning that down. UCONN can't get anywhere close to matching that

Woj is def more plugged in with Pelinka than any other reporter - and he also stated that Dan Hurley is flying to LA to meet Pelinka and Jeanie tomorrow. So, clearly Pelinka told Woj to drop the bomb on the eve of game 1 of NBA finals. Rob will look really dumb if deal doesn't get done now. They kept it under wraps for weeks - it'd be really really dumb to leak it now and not get it done.

No idea what he'll do. Hope Lakers get him. To me - it seems like he's back there to say bye tomorrow but that's just a guess.

Oh Kentucky offered Hurley 11M and Lakers knew that - so they offered 11.5M a year? Uhh that kind of changes my opinion on the offer. Good offer but could have tried to lure him with 14-15m a year offer.
