Melo is on a minimum contract. Dude has already earned that.

He's playing out of his mind on O right now sure, but he's still brutal on D and the law of averages will certainly win out IMO. I am not basing performance off of playoffs only but im not wetting myself at his currently shooting clip right now. If he can sustain it then ya of course.

Btw - Melo's defense hasn't been bad last few games. Putting in the effort and getting some steals and blocks too.

When Lakers signed him - I thought he can give 10-12
ppg and shoot 38-39% from field in 25 minutes.

Wayyyy wrong on that.

Melo has 39 3PM in 75 3PA
Curry has 52 3PM in 134 3PA

He has been ok on defense last 3-4 games (minus the Portland game) when the whole team no-showed.

Def think he can't shoot like this for rest of the year but be shot 40% over the last 2 years with Blazers. He has been an elite 3pt shooter last 2 seasons. I don't think he's shooting below that.

If he can sustain 52% from 3 and average 17-18 ppg - then you'll come off your position that he doesn't belong in the league? C'mon man he has already proven you wrong there.

Westbrook was playing really well last night for 3 quarters and had a bad 4th quarter. Had 5 turnovers in 4th. It was clear he was trying to do too much. When Lebron is in - he will handle a lot of late game pg duties. But, the Westbrook in the first 3 quarters is the one I want when Lebron is back. Be an elite playmaker (had 10 plus assists in 3Qs) and attack the rim. He shot only 5-15 but missed a dunk and couple of layups rimmed out. Could have easily been 8-15.

Westbrook is polarizing player but ppl go overboard with most overrated or overpaid players. Lot of dudes earning 30M a year in the league who will never put up that stat-line.

Hopefully THT is back by the weekend. Lebron/Nunn by next weekend.

I think that came from a doctor who said if the strain is grade 3 and he didn't know what grade it is. Shams said 1-2 weeks - which suggests grade 1 - so gonna go with that until there is an further update.

Bigger surprise than Melo has been this dude. What a f**king baller!!! Vogel better keep him in rotation when Nunn and THT are back. Cut back Rond, Bradley and DJ minutes.

Really think Vogel needs to go offense heavy. His best defenders aren't really defending that well - so better thing is to optimize Westbrook and surround him With 3 shooters on most occasions.

Reeves looks like he belongs on the team from the movie Hoosiers. Just that farm boy looking dude that can shoot and plays hard working D. I love him. He totally has filled the gap left by Caruso. He's the new White Mamba.

Yea...love that dude. I don't know where the Lakers would be without him with all the injuries. Crazy to think that an undrafted rookie is having such an impact on a true contender.

He should be back soon. I think he comes back before end of next week. Hopefully against Bulls on Monday or against Bucks next Wednesday.
