Ya, same thing that I said. But I doubt RW would agree on taking on that role. Higher chance he gets traded than sent to the bench.

It is what it is now. But tbf, Rob put together a bad roster. Vogel is a defensive coach, and most of these players don't want to play defense or can't anymore.

Is it really his fault that Westbrook isnt a fit? I dont watch that many Laker games but the talent isnt that great aside from Lebron and AD and Westbrook was never a match for them. I think a huge part of the blame has to go on the GM to be honest. Having said that, I wouldnt want to play the Lakers in the 1st round of the playoffs if they are 100% healthy.

We can't play defense. We aren't beating any team in the playoffs.

And I wouldn't say that RW was a bad fit, he's just not that good anymore. It was just a matter of time until he started losing some of that motor and athleticism he had. He's always been a full effort type guy in this league, he just can't do that anymore game after the game. He still has his occasional dunks here and there, but he can't finish consistently anymore either. Not saying he was a great fit, but this has more to do with him not being the same player anymore.

Not 1 person is at fault but putting out terrible lineups over and over should be the reason why Vogel should be fired. He had made very little adjustments and when he has - they have been very late. His in-game management has been awful too. So often - Lakers are left with 2 timeouts at the start of 4th quarter. He played DeAndre in the starting lineup for too long and is doing the same with Bradley.

I agree - the roster is not ideal for his system. But that's where a great coach adjusts his system and makes it work.

Lastly - I do think they badly need a 3nD wing to really slot everyone properly. Idk who they can get but getting a starting caliber 3nD player will really help this roster.
