There is NO excuse for the way they treated West.

And for Jeannie to not put him in the 5 most important Lakers of all time and to put Lebron in there was a joke and a disgrace. How that 5 cant be Baylor, West, Magic, Kareem, and Kobe is ridiculous. I can understand why he would be upset by that.

West treated Phil Jackson poorly - as I'm sure Phil Jackson treated him poorly too. He didn't want to hire Phil but that decision was taken out of his hands by Jerry Buss. Phil found out and treated West poorly as well. West hated Phil and Phil hated him. He also fired Kurt. He publicly said he was troubled by Phil Jackson and Jeanie's relationship. Well - now Jeanie is the owner and Kurt is running the franchise. What did he expect?

Also - Jerry West has been known to be overly sensitive and petty himself.

Jeanie put Phil Jackson and Lebron in her top 5. Obviously West and Baylor should be in that list but she put 5 ppl she has/had great relationship with and excluded ppl she doesn't have one. It's not that serious.

It f**king retarded. This list was the most important Lakers ever. Not the Lakers that she liked the best. I dont care what relationship you have with the players at least dont look like a complete idiot.

I think I gave you the reason why she didn't want to name West into HER list of 5 most important Lakers. It's an opinion - not some fact. She didn't like how West treated Phil (who she is still friends with) - so she didn't want to extend him the respect he didn't extend to Phil. Not to mention - he went public by saying he was troubled by the relationship between Jeanie and Phil. She probably didn't appreciate that.

Ppl worth a billion dollars can be a*****es and hold grudges. Imo - not really hard to understand and an intelligent person like Jerry West should have understood that.

I just don't understand why he has these kind of expectations from ppl who he fired or aired out their dirty laundry. That's all.

This team name is dumb. There are no lakes in LA just like there is no jazz in Utah. They should trade 3 way with New Orleans rightfully becoming the Jazz. The Utah club can be the Salt Lakers. LA Pelicans. Three way nickname trade. This just makes no sense as it stands now total joke.

This RW nightmare is never going to end for the Lakers until Vogel grows a pair and puts him in a 6th man role. Why does Westbrook have more shot attempts than AD?

I, like tons of other people, knew it was a terrible move. RW makes your team worse. If the Lakers cut him they'd be better immediately because those minutes would go to anyone other than him.

Game was lost in 1st quarter bc of bad defense. Westbrook is obviously is in a slump right now but blaming him for the loses is not being genuine. Defense has been awful whether Westbrook is on the court or not. Same for offense - it has been very up and down - again even when Westbrook is on then bench.

Personally, I don't think they should trade him right now. Maybe in summer if team doesn't play better after the all-star break. Right now - they should try to find a 3nD wing player that will fit the team.

Just want to see Lebron, AD and Westbrook play 25 games together. A third of the season is left.
