Ya, a bunch of teams lining up to take on 45 mil contract. Stay tuned.

There are dumb teams out there that will take him.

Yeah, the Lakers.

Ya

Sounds like the Lakers should have retained Caruso and Schroeder over Westbrook? Or if this happened would they be entertaining a trade for Westbrook at this very time :)
Lakers fans chanting "DONT SHOOT" while Westbrook's in the corner behind the 3pt line

hahaha. what a beautiful s**t show.

Guys - Westbrook just needs more time to gel
Saw a crazy stat so I had to look at the game logs to see if it's true, and it is. RW has as many made Field Goals (14) as he does TOs so far in February. Also, an abysmal 2:1 Asst to TO ratio. Wow!
Obviously Westbrook trade hasn't worked out the way I thought it would. I think some of the blame goes towards the coaching staff as well and injuries have not helped either. Of course - most of the blame goes to Russ. I really thought he'd take on a roll of a playmaker and play primarily as a setup guy for AD, Lebron and shooters as the season moves along.

Again...personally - I think they should play out this season and play Russ - Bron - and AD as much together as possible. In the summer - Lakers can trade 2027 1st and 2029 1st (along with swaps in 2026 and 2028 + 7-8 2nd round picks they have) with expiring contract of Russ.

John Wall as a trade partner has been mentioned again lol and I don't think Wall can stay healthy nor do I think it changes a whole lot. He also can't shoot and since his injuries - has stopped playing defense. He may fit slightly better bc he may be more open to making the adjustments since he is a less accomplished player than Westbrook. Honestly - I wouldn't do that trade unless Lakers are getting someone else in return too. As bad as Russ has played this season (and ppl have made it out to be worse than he has actually played) - Wall is no better and is injury prone - and unlike Westbrook - it is Wall who has never been a winning player.

Well we had an entire career to go off of. He's been the exact same player and as he gets more desperate and loses athleticism it's gonna get ugly.

Don't agree with Vogel on lot of things this season but this is on point.

Westbrook not getting traded. He's injured with back spasms.
It's unbelievable how bad everyone OTHER than LeBron is when watching these Laker games.

Well at least they cant blame Westbrook for this loss. How can you possibly lose to Portland who didnt have Lillard or any of the guys they traded CJ for. Pretty shocking.
Worst game of the season. First game Westbrook missed all season. I'm sure it's still his fault.

Vogel needs to go. Bradley played 36 minutes. This has to be a joke.

4ML, this loss aside, it's obvious Westbrook is a huge part of the problem. He just isn't a good basketball player.
