Vogel decided to bench Reaves in must win games in April - and his reasoning was - he has hit the rookie wall. lol...a week later - he's the first un-drafted rookie in the history of the NBA to post a 30pt triple double in his first year.

lol @ ppl who think Vogel is being scapegoated. He isn't the only one to be blamed - but he deserves a s**t load of blame.

My take that Vogel would be the scapegoat, occurred after game 4.....cmon, gotta give me props for that.
I'll be pissed if Mark Jackson or Doc Rivers are even seriously considered.

Give me Nick Nurse somehow. Unlikely but make it happen. Will have to send compensation to Raptors but don't care if that lands you the best coach in the NBA.

Good call if you really predicted Vogel will be fired if he did his job poorly after game 4. He was on a hot seat to begin the season.
Phil Jackson told Jeanie Buss to trade LeBron and keep Westbrook per Bill Plaschke and the LA Times

Things aren't going to get any better so why not?

Phil gonna Phil. I can't believe ppl like Phil and Rambii are making FO decisions over there. If Phil was coaching - that's one thing but when has he ever had any success deciding who should be HC or who should be on roster.

This is disaster written all over it if Jeanie let's these guys run the team. Even taking advise from these guys who failed for many years in this role is ridiculous.
who the hell would want westbrook and for what price
Sources: Finalists for the Los Angeles Lakers head coaching job: Bucks assistant Darvin Ham, Warriors assistant Kenny Atkinson and former Trail Blazers coach Terry Stotts. Next stage of interviews are expected to take place in-person in Los Angeles.

Like all 3 of them.
Thank God no Mark Jackson or Doc Rivers. Sixers saved Lakers from Rivers.

Hope they let the coach pick his asst coaches this time.
Ham/Atkinson with Stotts as asst HC would be perfect but only if Ham or Atkinson want Stotts.

He was definitely one of the guys I wanted the most.

Yes, thank God for no Jackson or Rivers.

Hopefully they let him do his own thing, I think he can be an excellent coach.

I read that he was Phil and Kurt's choice. We'll see how it goes.

Well that's actually very good then, since it's more likely they will give him more freedom if they trust him like that.
