Westbrook is a much better player than he is showing for the Lakers. It was clear from the jump that this was a bad fit. Now he is being scapegoated when the team in general is a lottery team.
Westbrook needs to be on a team where he is the primary ball handler and has some shooters around him. He cannot be an offball player. I have no idea why the Lakers thought he would be a good addition to a team with Lebron running the offense.

As in he can't be traded bc of the contract or it requires his approval?I really don't understand the logic of trading him though. Pels have swapping rights for the lakers pick in 2023 and they get to choose if they want either Lakers unprotected 2024 pick or unprotected 2025 pick.

Can't be traded bc contract extension. He doesn't have no-trade clause. He can't be traded this year no matter what. To get ratings - ESPN intentionally have ppl come on Tv and say Lakers should trade Lebron right now when they know he Lebron can't be traded lol
