Really wished they had kept Caruso. He'd have been ideal fit on this team. Dude is a 1st team all defense. Lakers really messed that up to save some money.

Yea he was a huge loss. Playing very well for the Bulls.
Reaves plays hard...gritty type of player the Lakers need.
Melo scores 24 pts in 25 mins - too many minutes? lol

A broken clock is right twice a day
9-10 FTs

44% 3pts- and that's with Lebron going 1-10. lol

They're still leaving way too many shots uncontested from 3, but they turned it up when they needed to in the 4th. A win is a win.

Dude is averaging almost 16ppg in 27 mpg while shooting 50% from 3 (yes you read that right) on 6 attempts per game - while playing on a minimum contract.

I don't know what expectations ppl had when Lakers signed him but he has exceeded my expectations and i am one of the few ppl who wanted Lakers to sign him. He's been the best offensive role player Lakers have had in last 3 years.

Went small and surrounded AD and Bron with 3 shooters and f**ked them up. Lebron was running the point and kept finding the open man on the weakside.

And the one three hit was from like 36' away? lol

So far I will admit he has played very well and is playing more efficiently than I would expect on the offensive end.

He isn't a guy who will hurt the Lakers as much as RW does/will because Melo has embraced his role with Portland and now in LA. If you notice in last nights game the definitive run to close it out came with RW on the bench.

Yeah, AD got caught behind the basket and tried to shoot it over the top. It bounced high and I think Jordan rebounded it and kicked it out to lebron standing on the logo with like 1.5 seconds left on the shot clock. He chucked it up and drained it. lol

Fun sequence.

Not only Westbrook has to adjust to the new teammates - the team has to adjust to Westbrook speed and where he wants to go and do in transition. He has been horrendous so far with the Lakers in transition and we know Westbrook is one of the better transition players in the league. So, it's only a matter of time he (and the team) figures it out. His 3pt shot is still s**t - we knew that - he will turn the ball over - we knew that (but not at the current rate) - and he will make some bone-headed plays.

Harden, Paul George, Beal all had their best years playing next to Westbrook. I am not worried about him till there is time to worry. Give him 20 games.

Just imagine if Lakers had kept Caruso. Good God...would have f**ked up some backcourts.

Ya, such a bad move to let him go. Gonna regret that for along time.
"Turnovers. I mean, when we don't turn the ball over, we're a pretty good team," Lebron James said. "When we turn the ball over it definitely takes the sails out of us and we've got to do a better job of that. Especially me."

Let's win some games...playing Houston twice and OKC over the next 3 games at home. Gotta win these AND look better.
