Jaylen didn't step up with his 8 TOS and 1/9 from 3 land.

Miami zone defense was a headache for Cs and could cause havoc for Denver

They still would have been curb-stomped even if Tatum didn't get injured. Yeah Brown stunk up the joint and you can blame Mazulla for not being able to figure out that zone D. Celtics for the series shot 30% from 3 while the Heat shot 43%. Celtics MO all year long has been live and die by the 3.

Tatum's injury deflated Boston's balloon. They seem to be vulnerable to breaking down mentally. Last year I thought the Warriors were doomed against them, but then Curry laughed in their faces and they collapsed in the face of a mentally tougher opponent. Happened again.

Butler is great.

Yes he (Tatum) collapsed big-time against Wiggins and the Warriors last year. You'd figure with how many playoff games Tatum, Smart, and Brown have played in together along with veteran Horford that they'd be mentally tough but to me it all boils down to Tatum and his mindset. If he's mentally strong he and the team can weather any storm their way but he still has growing pains to get over.

Call me sacrilegious if you'd like but I'm actually relieved they didn't get past the Heat. Surely they would have been done in by the Nuggets had they escaped. They just weren't a very consistent team after the all-star break and it showed during these playoffs. I'm very interested in how they approach their roster this summer and if Brown is still in their long-term plans.

Ok suuuure
Heat 2 FTs
Nuggets 20 FTs

Where are all the conspiracy theorist?

Until proven otherwise, this is likely an outlier. Plus I didn't see egregious flops throughout the game to get to that 20.

People are going to be clowning on Jemele Hill forever.

Look for the over correction next game, or when it returns to Miami. Officiating in all major sports is a f**king joke.
Heat could've easily won this game, or at the very least keep it competitive if Martin and Max Strus hit just half of their open threes.Tyler Herro may return in game 2 or 3 so we will see if he can pick up for their slack.

However Butler clearly isn't right, and Miami NEEDS HIM! As a 49ers fan I can understand how frustrating it is to see your team fall short due to injuries.

Yep, I was just going to say, Nuggets shot worse from 3 than the Heat.

Denver hit its wide open 3s they had worse shooting pct from 3 because Miamis perimeter defense while Jokic was out suffocated the shooters. Heat lost by 11 with 3 key players and their best player playing horrible, and only getting 2 FT attempts
