Harden's mouth costs him 100k
This is absolutely fair.
Dude is lesser than, and stood on the shoulders of, the giants that preceded him.
I'm no fan of Harden but Harden is arguably a top 5 shooting guard in the history of the game. If he stood on them shoulders it's bc he climbed on them all by himself.
Harden is the beneficiary of the watering down of the game in the 21st century. Did this guy ever play defense?
Having lived to see Jordan play, he is the standard that all other shooting guards are judged by. I stand by my statement.
Harden would be lucky to crack the top 15
He's top 15, just not top 5
Kobe
Wade
MJ
Iverson
Clyde
Yeah went back through and I'd have no issue with him right around 15ish. If I had to go top 5 it would be tough because after those top 2 there is a glut of guys you could make the case for rounding out that top 5…,think I'd go#3 West #4Klay and #5 Allen
MJ
Kobe
West, Wade, Drexler, Klay, Gervin, Iverson, Allen, Miller, Monroe, Ginobli
Love Ginobli and Miller, but they weren't as good as Harden. And I get being a Ws homers but no to Klay as well.
And who the f**k is Monroe lol
If I was to rank,
MJ
Kobe
Wade
Clyde
Gervin
Iverson
TMac ( a little bias here I was a big TMac fan)
After that probably Harden. He's easily a top 10 SG, and you can make an argument for 5th/6th best as well.
I'd take Klay all day everyday over harden.
earl the pearl man!
I like your list. I always think of TMac as a SF: I also change my rank, forgot wade would be my #3 lol . Allen gets bumped
Oh ya haha, idk why I didn't realize that. I had to look up his stats as well, I mean for that era 18.8 ppg isn't that impressive. So idk...
Klay is arguably the best shooter ever at SG, it's definitely him, Allen, and Reggie.
It's just hard to put Klay in that convo bc he's not really go create your own shot type player, and that matters when you're discussing an all time great player. Would he be able to dominate if he was the star player on his team and never played w/ Curry? Who knows...
TMac was definitely a SG, was a bit bigger than most SGs, but that's basically the position he played. Hes pretty much always had a traditional SF on his teams.
