The top players going down really puts a damper on the NBA product. Maybe the knee was not meant for this wear and tear. Forty-Niner Great, Dave Wilcox missed one game in an eleven-year career. Guess they don't make them like that anymore.

Knee problems happen to the best of them, in any era. This isn't a current events problem.

I'm hardly a Kawhi fan - never thought he was a top 3-4 player who belonged in the same conversation as Bron, Curry, or Durant - just a tier below them - but wtfff? He has a degenerative tissue in his knee. He's trying to play thru it. You'd rather he retires than plays thru it. Just so ridiculous. Just trying to say inflammatory s**t.

Very true. I stopped watching these shows a long time ago. Not just his - all sports shows - other than half time shows during games - but those are becoming just like this crap. It's all agenda driven. But this did come across my timeline and thought it was worth sharing here for ppl who still watch this guy.

I disagree with him though. Imo Kawhi is doing everything he can to play for the Clippers. It sucks he has degenerative tissue and that has to managed very strictly or another tear is likely. It's clear SA misdiagnosed him and cleared him to play. Raptors and Clippers medical staff have advised the team to limit his minutes and games for a reason.

Westbrook is rebuilding his credibility with his stellar play on defense and offense. You've got to wonder if Kawhi and George were both healthy they would be favorites to win it all. But, we will never know in this or future seasons.
