NBA DRAFT 2023

Lots of Beal rumors before the draft. If moved - Miami and Celtics may be interested. He has one of the worst contracts in all of NBA - 4 years 210m left - so don't think he should cost a LOT. Plus, has a no-trade clause.

Im more interested in what they do with Kuz and Porzingis.

No idea if that's Lillard's form all the time. If so, yikes. Might explain why Lillard is ranked 204th all time in 3p accuracy. Repetition and natural born talent will take you to heights only a select few in this world can ascend but he does need to work on his jumper. Whether he tweaks his form or not is another story.

Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place but I see 27.5% from 3. Regardless, I am not overly concerned by that...he also shot over 75% from FT - which looks promising and a good indication that his 3pt shot will come around. He was 18 last year - playing against players in early to mid 20s and some late 20s too. I think he's gonna be a star once he is consistent with his 3pt shot.

Athletically - he is at Ja Morant/Westbrook level. Has pretty good handles and plays with high IQ and is a good passer. I think consistency from 3 is the only missing piece and his jump shot is a LOT LOT LOT better looking than those guys I mentioned above. I really like him. I think he goes no.1 in last years draft and I was extremely high on Paolo, Jabari, and Ivey.

In short - I think Hornets will be dumb to pass on Scoot just to draft a player who may be a better fit with LaMelo. And, I think Miller is a damn good player but Scoot has star potential and you should always always always draft BPA in top 10 imho.

Oh my bad about that stat. I was reading an article on Scoot and just took the author's word the 17% was correct. Yeah, on top of a decent 3pt shot, just having a reliable jumper combined with his handles and athleticism would be unfair ala Devin Booker and Jamal Murray. I'm sure he will put in the work in all aspects of his game.

Here's a look into the future:

Jordan Hawkins SG UCONN

expected late lottery pick , comparisons to Klay, Anfernee Simmons , Burks .

Potential to be the best shooter from this draft

I don't watch much college basketball but this is one guy that caught my eye in the tournament. He's ranked like mid to late 1st round and I think he's going to be a very nice surprise for someone. Outstanding shooter, decent ball handler and defender too, he seems perfect for the modern NBA. Like a smaller, more fluid Cam Johnson.

Perfect fit for the Warriors and Nuggets honestly.

Who ?
Hornets should have taken Scoot

blazers should have traded dame or the pick. Keep thinking they can build a contender but they can't in next 2 years
Jordan better be right bc he just passed on a star player in Scoot.
Blazers keeping Scoot and Lillard? Doubt it.
im happy with picking Scoot. let the Dame stuff work itself out over the offseason.

Move off Simmons most likely if Scoot pans out and Dame doesn't get hurt again
Bilal
Knew he wouldn't last till 17

Feel Magic reached on Howard.

Anthony Black and Jett Howard.

Tell me how to feel.
Jarace Walker, picked 8th, was in my middle school district. My brother is a teacher there and said the kid made a fool of him during a staff vs players game back in 8th grade
