Zion wasn't guarding all of those guys straight up, he was playing help defense a time or two.

In those instances, where is the Suns guy who Zion was guarding?

Can't they get in front of Zion so he can't make a block/a play against their teammate?

Some of that was because the Suns' player wanted no part of getting in Zion's way, and most of it was just good play by Zion.

My original statement was not confusing in the least, ... at least it really should not be.

In the clip -
1st block - he is defending the guy on the 3pt line and helped off him to block Nurkic
2nd block - he is defending Nurkic but have inside position and helps off him to block Beal

In either circumstance - the offensive player couldn't have jumped in front of Zion to seal him off or stop him from blocking the shot. It wasn't bc they were scared of getting in Zion's way.

3rd block - he is guarding Beal on the perimeter and blocks him from behind after Beal goes past him
4th block - he is guarding KD on the perimeter and blocks him from behind after KD goes past him

Dude has been playing great though and is on pace to play 70 games. Hope BI comes back - bc I think they can give a good fight in round 1 if BI is back and fully healthy.
