WNBA discourse is toxic AF right now. Its a joke. We have heard players, analysts and fans complain for years about how no one pays attention to the league. Now that more people are, people dont know how to act.

I mean... She's been far from perfect and I'm not even close to crowning her yet but she's more than capable of doing this nightly. Her bringing this to the WNBA us huge for the game. I'll admit I've watched about 8 minutes, if that of WNBA before this year.

Right now I believe their official excuse is that she declined the initial invitation, despite you know, being busy in the Final Four.

So they were 'concerned' she would have limited playing time. And then decided not adding her would be even better.


Also the timing is poor given she forced the WNBA's Washington Mystics team to switch from their normal 4000 seat arena to the bigger Capital One arena, which promptly sold out over 20000 tickets. For a Mystics team that still hasn't won a game.
