The hype was so crazy, her coach sucks and too many of her teammates play with Crisco on their hands that it was easy to see her continuing to struggle but she's balling out of her mind right now.

A little more talent around her and a new coach and they can make some real noise. Her vision is a real treat to watch and her numbers should be higher than what they are but her teammates are struggling to catch some of those passes and they need to do a better job of finishing.

Meanwhile Chicago plays a great game and gets a much needed big win VS LV to go into the break only to wake up and discover that Mabrey got traded. It's a move for the future of the team but it's not going to make them any better for the second half of the season.

I thought it was more wild how slow she started and was
expecting more of this recent play .

#1 draft pick is usually on an awful team , so the adjustments by her and her teammates is paying off

The recent draft class actually has some attractive looking women in it that like to look feminine, I think that will help the popularity of the sport. As far as the quality of play it is my opinion the gap between how women look playing basketball compared to men is huge compared to other sports. Sloppy passing, missing easy open shots, etc, etc. You watch women play tennis, golf, participate in track and field events, volleyball, soft ball, soccer, etc,etc they look pretty much as skilled and coordinated as men just a little slower and not as strong.

Huge - Massive - 11 years - 76B for WNBA. Included for free is NBA since it's losing in popularity and no one watches it anymore.
Imagine if the games were actually good
Just checked standings. Didn't they say Reese was roty because they had a better record?

lol oops

The games aren't bad at all honestly. It's like watching a sloppier version of the NBA in the early 90s.

I'm with SDN on this one. The games are very difficult to watch. I have been trying really hard to get into it this year, but its very difficult.

It's not just the games (and I think the gameplay is super slopppy) but their #1 draw is on a fairly bad team

once Caitlyn is on a top 3 team and is going head to head with a top team the potential will be much higher

There's talent there with Boston and Mitchell. The bigger issue Indiana has is that the coaching is atrocious. That situation is like the Warriors with Brian Winters.
Hey now....
