I thought by 1984 cigarette endorsement by anything athletic was long gone. As for the bearded lady, WTF??? I do think women regardless of political leanings are way more tolerant of that than men. Also I think a very low percentage of men watch the opening or closing ceremonies. I don't recall any guy I know watch them who was a sports fan.
