I know the 1st round of games were so-so, but I can see where this will evolve into something even better next season.
This is much better than the previous 4-team format, especially in the Transfer Portal & NIL Era. Looking forward to
how the committee tweaks the selection etc, to make it even better moving forward.

In a 4 team format, Ohio state and ND aren't in it. It's be Oregon, Georgia, Penn State, Texas. It would have been awful. Conf champ rematches….

in an 8 team format it's probably Oregon, Penn St, Georgia, ASU, Clemson, Texas, Boise State, ND (no Ohio State)

Ohio state as 3rd highest ranked Big10 team only makes it in 12 team format

Man, what a great game

Yeah it was. Bad INT very late in the game by the Penn State QB to give ND an opportunity for that winning FG. The kicker nailed it to his credit.

Really like watching the games with this new playoff format. Only concern is the extra games played can expose to injury top players that will be in the draft in a few months.

Legit concern no doubt.

Brian Kelly is a football terrorist.

They need to start playoffs a week earlier

need to seed teams based on rank regardless of conf champ

and I think they should eliminate conf champ games. You don't play a nfc west champ game before a 4 round playoff

georgia lost its Qb in what is essentially a pointless game

Allar really struggled. Was bad all game even before that INT.
