what a s**tty card this weekend. Even the main event is crap. CM should win easily.

You think? Cerone is still in good shape. God knows what CM we will see. If I had to bet I would go with Cerone.

U always gotta be weary of cowboy folding in big spots. Its the story of his career. He also tends to fight much better when hes friendly with his opponent in the lead up. He doesnt do well in these fights where theres some beef. Matt brown fell into this trap. He was mean muggin in the lead up like he always does, but that fight turned when he got friendly with cowboy and hugged him as the round started. Next thing u know boom head kick ko

crazy how much these dudes look a like. I remember turning on an event a couple/few years back, seeing what I thought was Gastelum fighting, thinking to myself, "Oh cool, didn't know he was fighting tonight." Get this... IT WAS NASTRAT!!!! CRAZY RIGHT!?

True. I still like Cowboy though.
Lulz.

I hope CM knocks this dude out like everyone else.

nice guy CM is boring.
Cowboy has one of the coolest personas in the sport and maybe 10 years ago when he wanted Connor he could of pulled something off... but this just seems like a countdown to KO fight. Cowboy hasnt shown that he can put Connor away in one shot or combo, his best chance is the ground game but Cowboy rarely is content trying to take it to the ground.

I see Connor feeling him out, Cowboy landing some shots here and there... then Connor throwing that left hand on the money to a guy who's entire fighting still isnt dodging punches but blocking/absorbing and countering, but he hasnt been able to absorb much in the past 5 years. Sending Cowboy into starry eyesight land where Connor follows up and causes the ref to stop the fight.

Links tonight? What site has errrbody been using as of late?
Use sportsurge.net. It replaced reddit after the crackdown.

I went to the card before New Years which was way better than this one here in Vegas and at T-Mobile. The price difference is astronomical because its Conor and all the Irish fans are already getting ready. Honestly, this fight was tailor made for Conor so he can get a win, but it wouldn't surprise me if Cowboy wins. Dana wants Conor to win so he could set up something like Conor vs Masvidal(Street Jesus!) which would be HUGE money wise. Gaethje and Ferguson are heavy handed which are Cowboy's last losses and I think eventually Conor finishes him. He'll have the speed advantage for sure, but Cowboy is a resilient dude.
I'm not sure why people are favoring and saying this fight is made for CM. Its Nate Diaz all over again. A guy who's bigger, has good cardio, and can grapple. If Cerone just grapples with him, there's nothing he can do.

CM is done imo. Hasn't won a fight in over 3 years, hasn't fought in over a year. I'll be shocked if he beats Cerrone.
The weight can be a difference but there's now way you can equate Nate's granite chin with Cerrone who has proven he can be rocked and taken down. Nate also has way better jitz than Cowboy. I would be shocked if Cowboy grapples with him. He should, but I don't think he will.
