You think? Cerone is still in good shape. God knows what CM we will see. If I had to bet I would go with Cerone.

This is gonna sound corny af lol but I would f**king love this if they could somehow modify match play. Its simply too easy to disable an opponent.

Dana making that monies.
Like I said, this was a calculated move by Dana to not only get Conor's confidence back but Cowboy was tailor made for him. He's coming off 2 losses and plays into what Conor does well.
Dana talked about a rematch with Khabib, but that's foolish. It won't go any different than last time. THE match to make is Conor vs Masvidal. The two biggest names in MMA at the moment. Unfortunately this is a bad matchup for Conor but would be huge for the UFC.

Conor VS Cowboy was the smart fight to make. UFC is in the fight selling business and selling as many fights and making as much money as possible is Dana's job. Dana would have been foolish to not put Conor in a favorable match up. It is also what Conor and his team wanted, a favorable match up. And it played out perfectly setting up Conor for a huge money fight next.

Conor wants a Khabib rematch and that will sell. Jorge wants Conor and that too will sell. And Pacquiao has reportedly shown interest in a Conor fight recently and last night Floyd seemingly showed interest as well.

The rich are going to be a whole lot richer regardless of which of those avenues they choose next.

One more "tune-up" match for Connor -- Dustin Poirer at 155. Then Connor fights Ferguson or Khabib for the LW title. Then he moves back up in weight for the 170lb belt lulz.
