He's always treated his fighters like s**t. The fighter compensation is criminal

If everyone is tested, I don't see what the issue is. This may be the new normal going into 2021. We have to get innovative. It gives the staff who work for ufc an opportunity for compensation, and it provides the world with a much needed distraction from reality

They are no doubt about that, but the minimum is 10k to show 10k to win. Meanwhile on the McGregor VS Floyd card there were 5 undercard fighters who made less than 10k with no win bonus and 3 of those 5 got under 5k.
Boxing is actually a tad worse with the undercard pay.
That's combat sports for you. Not worth the risk of CTE tbph.

Yup. Juice definitely doesn't seem worth the squeeze.

I get what dmax is saying. But fighters who can't fight right now are making no money, so fighting actually helps puts food on their tables.
It gives the UFC a chance to gain new fans given their is nothing else sports wise to watch.
It gives people entertainment in a grim time.
And if the UFC doesn't put on 42 events total this year, ESPN doesn't have to pay them because contracts.

Yeah, I understand his point also, but more than the fighters get a paycheck. There are "regular joes" that rely on ufc events to take care of their family

Yep, more undercard fighters who don't make much compared to those who get decent or better pay. And injuries are real and can limit the number of times you get to fight in a year.
I was just pointing out that the idea is a win all the way around for fighters, fans and the promotion. Obviously there are some serious risks and many precautions will have to be taken.
