I'm more of a boxing guy than UFC guy. I don't know s**t about UFC. Just the usual dudes everyone is familiar with and I'm a big time fan of Jorge Masvidal. I remember watching his street fights about ten years ago on the Kimbo Slice circuit. Some savage fights in Miami. Jorge is a damn beast.
Well gaethje has one of the most fan friendly styles in the entire sport. He deserves a title shot but 155 is so deep he was waiting for this fight to play out. Might have been fighting conor next. Him vs ferg is arguably a more entertaining fight than khabib. Not a better fight, but maybe more entertaining cus he doesnt use his great wrestling very much and prefers to strike

Interesting to note that both guys who have finished gaethje, eddie alvarez and dustin poirier, had picked gaethje to beat ferguson. Their stock grew last night as the only guys to not only survive gaethjes swarm but finish him. Go back and watch those fights if ur a fan of violence.

Media and Uncle Dana have brought it up, but Tony making weight for the second time in three weeks may have hurt his performance.
I think Gaethje has the best skill set to beat Khabib, but we will see. Iaquinta had some success and didn't get totally grapple f**ked like everyone else. If JG can have that same success grappling with Khabib, he has a good chance, as his stand up is far better than Al's. Sucks they likely don't fight until end of August or early September due to Ramadan though.
