It can be argued, nonetheless, Khabib has never lost. Technically Jones hasn't either but Khabib could've made that same mistake but didn't. Jones I'd say is #2, 26 wins is damn impressive but in the end it's still less than 29.

Dominated? Gaethje clipped Khabib multiple times and was turning his knee into mush.

Khabib's no slouch on his feet but the threat of him changing levels at any moment and taking you to the ground (essentially ending the game) is the reason why these strikers look so timid against him.

ya, jones has a much more impressive resume. he just doesn't get the love like khabib due to his past.

what the.... khabib had the constant pressure and appeared to be out striking the striker.

Tough argument between Khabib and Bones. Bones is a physical freak. Size, quickness, strength. If he didn't have all the off field BS, I'm sure the argument wouldn't be as close, but Khabib dominated fights, too. Also, I don't think Khabib was ever in real danger in a fight. I remember Bones having some problems vs Gus (1st fight) and recently Dom.

Yup people thought Dominick Reyes should've gotten the decision. Still a W though. Khabib dominated one of the most hottest fighters at the time in Conor McGregor. Regardless of who's record is more impressive, they both fought and beat whoever they put in front of them.

Enjoyed watching him fight, but definitely knew from the start that he wasn't going to be elite. Guy can't wrestle.

Thats the only way you could make that argument. I get why some would say that. But i still believe that Jones is the goat.

Both Jones and Khabib are in the goat conversation, but imo also GSP, and The Spider.

Idk it's all pre determined on your preferences. Khabib just flat out DOMINATES. No one is on his level...is that because the competition wasn't there, or because he's so dominant it just seems like no one else is on his level. Jones also had a pretty dominant career, but PED busts demminish that. How much though? GSP was never physically dominant IMO BUT was so technically skilled, prepared himself and worked as hard as anyone has...also took a 4 year hiatus and came back and won the belt in a different weight class....Silva before he broke his leg was just on a different level in terms of striking, but like Khabib was that due to lack of competition or just sheer dominance.

There's an argument for all of them imo.

There's also Stipe, what if Jones and him fight at some point at heavyweight and Stipe wins?

Hypothetical until it happens, but dude is a beast. What about Amanda Nunes (yes female fighter), she's so dominant, only female close to her is Valentina and she beat her twice (second fight arguably Valentina won)
